Reddit was used during the initial development phase of the Observatory as an exploratory cross-reference source for practitioner-reported compute infrastructure experiences and trade-offs.
Its exploratory role was considered complete. Ingestion was discontinued on 2026-08-08 and the associated locally retained source data was deleted. Reddit is not part of the current Observatory analysis, retrieval system or language-model context.
